The mission of the Occupational Therapy Department at Missouri State University is to educate holistic, reflective occupational therapy practitioners who understand the complexity of occupation and value its role in the promotion of health and wellness. Didactic and experiential learning will promote occupation-based practice, ethical leadership, community engagement, cultural humility, scientific

inquiry, and life-long learning to develop generalist practitioners who are prepared to meet the needs of persons, groups, and populations across a variety of settings, including those in rural and underserved communities.

Our programs had some great research projects on display at the Einhelig Interdisciplinary Forum today! Congratulations to Zoe and Dr. Jackson for being selected as one of the Outstanding Poster Presentations during the award ceremony.
