Most people with diabetes — about 6 out of 10 — also have high blood pressure. It is important that you manage all of your chronic illnesses properly to reduce risk of major complications. Caring Health Center regularly hosts Chronic Disease Self Management classes in English and Spanish. The 6-week CDSMP series is aimed at helping anyone living with at least one chronic disease. It focuses on disease management skills, including decision making, problem solving, and action planning. It also includes symptom management activities like exercise, relaxation, communication, healthy eating, medication management, and fatigue management. When was your last cervical cancer screening?

In 2025, 13,360 individuals were diagnosed with cervical cancer and over 4,000 died from the disease. Yet, in most cases, cervical cancer can be prevented.

The Gardasil 9 vaccine protects against cancer-causing HPV strains. Additionally, getting regular HPV and Pap tests can help your doctor catch cancer before it develops or in early stages, when treatment is more effective.
