🦁

“Lion’s breath” is a powerful yogic breathing practice—great when you feel anger, tension, or words stuck inside.

How to do it

Sit comfortably (cross-legged or on your knees).

Place your hands on your knees, fingers spread wide like claws.

Take a deep inhale through your nose.

Open your mouth wide…

Stick your tongue all the way out (toward your chin).

Exhale forcefully with a loud “HAааа” sound.

Let your eyes open wide (even look up between your eyebrows if it feels natural).

Repeat 3–7 times.

What it helps with

Releases anger and frustration

Relaxes jaw, face, and throat tension

Clears that feeling of “I need to say something but I can’t”

Activates your voice and expression

♥️A deeper way to use it

After each “HAаа,” you can add:

“I am allowed to feel this.”

“My voice matters.”

or even just a raw sound—no words, just expression

You don’t have to make it pretty. This is not a calm practice—it’s a truth-release practice.

Your body knows before your mind does.

All the emotions and feelings that couldn’t be processed when it wasn’t safe… they don’t disappear. They get stored deep in the body — in your tissues, your muscles, your nervous system.

You can’t outrun them forever.

And then, one day, when your body finally feels safe enough… they begin to rise. Slowly. In small doses.

Even those small waves can feel overwhelming.

Healing isn’t something you can rush. It takes time — months, years. It’s an inside job. Often invisible to the people around you. Sometimes lonely. Sometimes painful, intense, even grueling.

But on the other side…

✨️There is light.
There is peace.🙏
There is a sense of freedom and deep inner safety.

So be gentle with yourself❤️
Take breaks when you need them.
There is nowhere you need to rush to.

I’m grateful to feel life deeply now — not just live on the surface, pretending everything is okay while something inside is quietly screaming.

If you’re walking this path…
you’re not alone.

And it is so, so worth it.

Once you open this door, there’s no going back — only forward, at your own pace.

Exhale with a soft hum… feel the vibration in your face, your throat, your chest…

Let the sound carry you inward…



🌿 Little tip

The magic is not in how loud you hum, but how steady and felt it is.
Think: soft, warm, almost like you’re comforting your own nervous system.

✨️feet using Yamuna Foot Wakers
✨️lengthening hamstrings
✨️releasing calves
✨️spinal twist w gold ball to release lower back, hip and lower rib cage

And the best part
✨️Shavasana at the end and homemade.ginger tea after

I am a big outdoor lover and combination of fresh air, birds singing and offering a practice outside is a 💎!

So, maybe this Saturday (if the weather stays), we will be breathing and rolling w outside!

If you haven't tried , this is a wonderful opportunity to do do!

Each time we focus on different body parts, using these amazing balls to roll out tension from all the layers, soothe and calm the nervous system and get your ready for your weekend🌸

It's a whole body experience!

And it's okay if you have never done it! There is always a first time! Just show up..this is usually the most challenging 🚶‍♂️!
