ESVH offers a full range of services to small companion animals; specifically dogs and cats. We are equipped to manage the wellness of our patients through routine office visits, animal vaccinations, nutrition counseling, senior wellness exams, laboratory diagnostics, radiology, ultrasonography, dentistry, routine surgeries, and emergencies. Due to the longevity of our family-owned practice, the long-term relationships with our patients and clients, and the reputation of our doctors, we serve clients from many locales. Our clients travel from the Greater Springfield area including (but not limited to) Chicopee, Southwick, West Springfield, Westfield, South Hadley, Ludlow, Belchertown, Hampden, Wilbraham, East Longmeadow and Longmeadow. Since our location is accessible from many areas, we even have clients who come from Connecticut. Dr. Hersman recently traveled to Cotacachi, Ecuador, to mentor the next generation of veterinarians at the Amici Cannis Foundation Hospital.

This program connects students during their clinical year at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University with alumni mentors. As a Tufts alum, Dr. Hersman (V04) worked alongside Ian Gilbert (V26) to provide free sterilizations and veterinary care to the local community.

We're happy to have him back at the office, but so glad he could share his expertise abroad!
