The safest way to dispose of unused or expired prescription and non-prescription medicine is at a registered Drug Take Back site. Find the lime green bin in the lobby of HSHS St. John’s Hospital Community Pharmacy at 400 N. Ninth St. The pharmacy is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

From learning about why babies cry to understanding how family routines might change after their new sibling comes home, this class emphasizes the fun parts of being an older sibling while explaining safety issues like holding the baby properly.

HSHS St. John’s Hospital is operating as normal. An unsubstantiated threat was investigated this evening. All appropriate emergency action plans were put into place, safeguarding our patients, colleagues and medical professionals and there was no disruption to patient care.
