Beyond Healing is turning six, and it’s hard to find the words to express the depth of our gratitude. When we opened our doors, we had a simple vision: create a place where healing felt human, relational, and grounded in compassion. Six years later, that vision has grown into something far beyond what we could have imagined.

We are profoundly grateful for the therapists and trainers who have been part of this journey. Your commitment to trauma-informed, relational care has shaped the heart of our work. To the thousands of clients and training participants who have trusted us with your stories, growth, and learning, thank you. You are the reason this community exists.

And to everyone who has listened to and shared our podcasts, now downloaded millions of times, thank you for inviting us into your lives. Your engagement and reflection have helped build a global conversation around healing, connection, and the human experience.

As we celebrate this milestone, we would love to hear from you. If Beyond Healing has impacted your life, your practice, or your community, would you share a memory, a moment, or a takeaway in the comments? Your reflections help us honor the past six years and look toward the future with hope and gratitude.

Here’s to the work, the community, and the next chapter.

A study in 2008 found no difference between horizontal and vertical eye movements. Taxing working memory while recalling a memory decreases its emotionality. The more working memory is taxed, the bigger the effect, optimizing desensitization. Have you tried this?

☀️ Before the conference kicked off, we soaked up some much-needed friend time in Anaheim! 🌴✨
Just the four of us—laughing, exploring, and enjoying each other’s company before stepping into the whirlwind of presentations, networking, and all things EMDR. 💛
These moments of connection and rest are just as meaningful as the work itself—and they make the busy days ahead even sweeter.
