When your resident used to be a cake decorator, you know a simple celebration just won’t do! For Ruth’s birthday month, we turned our Whisk Wonders class into a mini cake decorating party—each of us adding our own flair with swirls of frosting and sprinkles galore.

Happy Birthday Month, Ruth! You’ve inspired us to make every celebration a sprinkle sweeter. ❤️

In honor of International Women’s Day, a few of our amazing residents — Nancy, Nita, Laura, Emily, Gracie, and Margy — joined in a special photo shoot! Each woman shared something that makes her unique by filling out an “I am” sign. The results were inspiring and full of heart. We’re proud to celebrate the strength, kindness, and wisdom of the incredible women in our community.

Craft time was all about creativity and laughter this week! Emily, Mary, Peggy, and Nancy teamed up with Tammie, one of our wonderful caregivers, to make adorable “love bugs.” Each one turned out totally unique and full of personality — just like the ladies who made them!

Our team Spotlight Shines on Braxton, one of our dedicated caregivers! Braxton was born in Springfield. He enjoys staying active at the gym, spending time with friends, and working on his car. At the end of April, Braxton will be leaving to begin
his service with the United States Marine Corps. We are incredibly proud of his
commitment and dedication as he embarks on this honorable journey. Braxton has been an amazing caregiver in our community. His kindness, patience, and positive attitude have made a lasting impact on both residents and staff. He will be deeply missed, and we are so grateful for the care and compassion he has shared with us.

Our resident spotlight shines on Emily! Emily was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and moved to the West Coast at a young age. She is the proud mother of one son, whom she loves dearly. Emily worked as a photo processor and later as an elementary school aide, where she shared her caring heart with many children. She also has a special talent for candy making, a hobby she’s enjoyed for years, even making sweet treats
with the neighborhood kids she babysat. You can find Emily at every activity with a
smile on her face. We’re so happy to have Emily as part of our community!
