Happy National Long Term Care Administrators Week! This week is dedicated to you Penny Upton!!

Penny came to Springfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in December and we are so blessed that she stepped into this role. In the short amount of time that she has been with us she has shown so much dedication, leadership and teamwork.
Penny shows residents,families and staff that she will help in anyway that she can. From picking staff up and taking them home on the weekend during an ice storm, to taking the residents outside whenever they request it she’s always there with a helping hand.
Something she always says is “ I won’t ask you to do something I wouldn’t do”, and she proves this on a daily basis to our staff.
Your dedication and commitment has made a huge difference in the lives of everyone here and we want to say thank you. Thank you for creating a supportive workplace for your staff, and thank you for creating a loving home for your residents. We appreciate everything you do! ❤️
