On Friday we took the opportunity to celebrate Halloween with our residents! We enjoyed seeing them dress up and partake in the festivities with our staff!

Our celebration was more than just costumes and candy — it was a joyful reminder of how vital social connection is to the well-being of our residents. Events like these bring laughter, shared memories, and a sense of belonging that truly enrich daily life. For many of our residents, gathering together to celebrate traditions fosters emotional wellness, reduces feelings of isolation, and strengthens the sense of community that makes our home feel like family.

Thank you to our friend Cassidy with Phoenix Home Care & Hospice for helping us celebrate with the cutest popcorn bar! We are so blessed to have such wonderful community partners!

We can't let October come to a close without recognizing our Employee of the Month! This month, we have been celebrating TJ who works in our dietary department! He is an amazing addition to our team and ALWAYS goes out of his way to spoil our residents.

A message from TJ:
"My name is Timothy Hays Jr, but I go by TJ. I have been a Healthcare worker for quite a while. I've made my way up in the dietary department as a dishwasher, dietary aide, cook, and I have loved every bit of it. It brings me joy knowing that I am providing a healthy meal to my residents at The Maples, and I make sure a lot of tender, loving care gets put into my food!"
