We are proud to share some wonderful news from Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing!

Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing continues to be designated as a five star nursing home which is the highest quality rating awarded by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services to facilities with much above average care . Components of the 5 star designation are staffing, quality measures, and health inspections. In January Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing received a deficiency free unannounced on site annual survey. This domain has the heaviest weight in the final score, and is a reflection of the high quality of care that Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing provides.

A second unannounced on site inspection was conducted in February to ensure compliance with National Fire Protection Association Life Safety Codes. Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing received a deficiency free survey as well. This inspection focuses on fire suppression systems, emergency lighting, exit access, and structural safety to protect residents from fire, smoke, and electrical hazards.

This recognition reflects the dedication, professionalism, and compassion of the entire Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing team and their commitment to providing exceptional care every day. We are grateful for their hard work and proud to see their efforts recognized in ways that directly benefit the safety, comfort, and well-being of our residents.

We loved seeing John Anz, Director of Development and Community Engagement for The Loomis Communities, along with Erin Breveleri, Dining Director at Loomis Village, and Paul Dunbar, Dining Director at Applewood, on Mass Appeal!

They shared all the details about the Chowder Bowl, taking place February 13 at 12 PM at all three Loomis locations. Registration is required at https://www.loomiscommunities.org/ and admission is a non-perishable food item, with all donations benefiting the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts.
