✨ Sound healing is a meditation technique that will focus on rebalancing the body’s energy system through sound. The combination of gongs, crystal bowls, chimes, and other sound instruments deepens relaxation, self-awareness, and reduces stress and anxiety. Universal sounds from the gongs foster emotional stability, improve circulation, reduce muscle tension, and clear negative energy. Gongs and other sound instruments integrated with Yoga Nidra bring a sense of well-being promoting mental clarity, improved sleep, and emotional release. There is a heightened state of awareness between wakefulness and sleep and encourages a deeper connection between mind body.

✨One can expect to connect to your inner Self through Pranayama (breath practice) and a few gentle exercises. This allows energy in the room to balance and to facilitate relaxation. Experience universal sounds choreographed with Yoga Nidra for optimum relaxation and healing. Closing will consist of a grounding mantra with or without a mudra (hand gesture).

✨The majority of the time at this event is spent seated on a yoga mat on the floor, as well as lying down on a yoga mat. Props such as blankets & bolsters are provided for comfort and support. Folding chairs are also available if sitting or lying down on the floor is not a good option for you.

✨PLEASE NOTE: A participating parent or legal guardian must accompany anyone under 16 years old.

Grounded Grace: Yoga to Support Hips, Knees, and Feet

We'll explore the vital role of the hip flexors in everyday mobility and how their strength and flexibility directly impact the health of the knees. Through gentle yet effective Hatha Yoga alignment-based asanas (poses), you’ll learn how to cultivate greater stability, mobility, and flexibility—helping to reduce strain, improve posture, and support mobility.

Equally important, we’ll bring mindful awareness to the feet, which serve as our body’s foundation. When the feet are strong and properly aligned, they positively influence everything above—from the ankles and knees to the pelvis and spine.

This workshop is ideal for those who want to:

•Support hip and knee health through gentle yoga asanas and movement
•Improve balance and posture
•Strengthen the feet and ankles to enhance overall stability
•Understand the anatomical connections between the lower body and the spine
•Prevent or address common issues like knee discomfort, tight hips, or foot pain

Whether you're new to yoga or have years of experience, this workshop offers accessible practices and modifications to meet you where you are. Yoga teachers can receive CEUs through Yoga Alliance upon completion.

This workshop is guided by Hatha yoga teacher, Christine Moses, 200 E-RYT, 500 RYT, YACEP, Reiki II Practitioner.
