We are incredibly proud to spotlight the strong, dedicated women leading our crews in the field this year.

Meet the team:

✨ Chief Marla Napurano
Marla first joined the First Aid Squad from 2000–2005 and returned in 2014. Over the years, she has served in multiple leadership roles including Treasurer, Membership Committee, and Recruitment & Retention Committee. A trusted crew chief and constant source of support, this marks Marla’s 3rd year as Chief!

✨ Deputy Chief Juliana Silva
Juliana joined SFAS in 2015 through our Cadet Program and went on to serve for many years on the House Committee. She is also a Crew Chief! Beyond SFAS, she works throughout Union County as the Director of the Office of Health Management. We’re proud to have her leadership and experience on our command staff.

✨ 1st Lieutenant Lois Honcharuk
Lois joined SFAS in 2022, bringing extensive experience as a former Nurse practitioner specializing in Pediatrics. She challenged the NREMT and quickly became an EMT after joining us. Lois plays a key role in ensuring our charting is accurate and completed on time, and she also serves on our Recruitment & Retention Committee.

✨ 2nd Lieutenant Annamaria George
Annamaria joined SFAS Cadet Program in 2021 and is serving her first year as a field officer. For the past two years, she was our Corresponding Secretary, working closely with our Vice President. Did you get a thank you letter in the mail from a donation you gave? That was from her 😉 She is also an active member of our Recruitment & Retention Committee. When she isn’t at the squad, she is busy studying while she attends Rutgers University- New Brunswick!

👏 Please join us in congratulating these incredible leaders!
