Ashley Krstulovich is a distinguished yoga and mindfulness educator whose work transcends the mat, redefining how individuals and communities heal and thrive. Based in Springfield, Illinois, she is the founder of WholeSelf Healing Resilience Center, a sanctuary for trauma-informed wellness practices that empower people to reclaim balance and vitality in their lives. Widely recognized for her impact, Ashley was honored as Illinois Times’ Best Yoga Instructor of 2024, awarded CommunityVotes-Springfield’s Platinum Yoga and Meditation, and named Business Rate’s Best Wellness Center in Springfield, Illinois. With over 5,000 hours of teaching experience, Ashley holds an E-RYT certification and is a Yoga Alliance Certified Education Provider. Her training spans Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), K-12 mindfulness education through Mindful Schools, trauma-informed practices under James Fox of the Prison Yoga Project, and specialized certifications in Kids and Families Yoga. Ashley’s work extends beyond the studio through her past nonprofit, Yoga for a Mindful Midwest, which has brought mindfulness programs to schools and agencies across the region. She was also the co-founder of FLOW Midwest Yoga & Meditation, previously recognized as Illinois Times’ Best Yoga Studio in Springfield (2020). Her expertise and advocacy have been featured in national outlets such as Yoga Journal, Chicago Tribune, NPR, and The Washington Post, as well as respected local publications. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in survival mode, or just tired in your bones, the work I offer is designed to meet you where you are— literally and figuratively.

Here’s a little more about my services:

🤲 Somatic Experiencing® Sessions – $60
This is gentle, body-based trauma support that helps your nervous system settle, reorganize, and find more capacity. We’re not re-hashing your story—we’re working with what your body already knows, at a pace that feels safe and respectful. Ideal for anxiety, trauma, chronic stress, grief, burnout, and feeling “stuck.”

💆🏻 Somatic Supportive Touch Sessions – $65
A deeply grounding, consent-based offering that supports regulation through intentional, supportive touch. This can help build safety, ease chronic tension, and support nervous system repair—especially for folks whose systems have learned to stay guarded. Slow, attuned, and very respectful of your boundaries.

🧘 1:1 Yoga Sessions – $65
This is not a generic yoga class. These sessions are fully customized to your body and nervous system—whether you need grounding, gentle strength, mobility, rest, or all of the above. Trauma-informed, accessible, and adaptable for all levels and bodies.

💻🚗 Important reminder:
I offer virtual sessions and house calls in addition to in-office appointments. If getting out of the house feels like too much, or you regulate best in your own space, we can absolutely work with that. Support should be accessible—not another stressor.
