Today is December 21st and the 25th day of Cheer which meant it was Brunch with Santa! It was also a celebration of the Winter Solstice! We added our snowflake, and lit the fourth candle on the Advent Wreath representing Love and the eighth candle on the Menorah! The residents enjoyed a meditation with Jill video for Winter Solstice! See if you can spot the Yulelad!

Today is December 20th and the 24th Day of Cheer! It was Christmas Trivia Day!! Resident Services Director Chris Patterson had a great time asking the questions, because she loves trivia and interacting with the residents! The questions weren't too hard or too easy! We learned some fun facts, had munchies and drinks and LOTS of laughs! Candy prizes for participants! We added our snowflake to the Advent Calendar and lit the 7th candle on the Menorah! Of course the Yulelad was up to his Shenanigans!

Today is Friday December 19th and our 23rd Day of Cheer! It was the Holiday Party and National Ugly Sweater Day! Oh the ugly, colorful, cute and festive sweaters and outfits abounded! Everyone was in the spirit! At our Holiday Happy Hour, we enjoyed a vist from the Jukebox Winos and we had festive, delicious fare from culinary! We had a first place winner, and then a second and third place runner up in our Ugly Sweater Contest. The winners got medals and goody bags!

We also watched Arrow's Holiday Video, featuring all the wonderful resident singers from all of the Arrow Communities! Our residents loved to see themselves in the video, and The Fremont represented! We lit the 6th Candle on the Menorah and of course added our snowflake!

The Yulelad tried to wrestle the medal away from the winner of the Independent Living Door Decorating contest - but she gave him what for and kept her medal! A very busy day!

Today is Thursday December 18th and Day 22 of Cheer! It is Out of Doors for Cheer today and we picked our favorite door decor! Melissa from Seasons Hospice was our judge! She selected Winners from our Villas, Lodge Apts and Assisted Living Apts! While many had lovely wreaths and door decorations, we went with most different of wreaths, hand made creations and those that stuck closest to the guidelines! Winners get a medal and some goodies that we will hand out at the Holiday party tomorrow!

We also added our Snowflake and lit the next candle on the Menorah! We reminded residents of the Holiday Party and Ugly Sweater Contest! The Yulelad set about annoying another resident who gave the Sass right back!

It's Wednesday, December 17th and Day 21of Cheer! Today was A Day For Caroling so we welcomed a wonderful Choir from Kickapoo High School who caroled for the residents! These talented, giving kids delighted residents with their songs and visit! Many thanks to them and their Director!
We lit the next candle on the Menorah, added a snowflake to the Advent Calendar and we found that pesky Yulelad bothering Business Office Director Amy Connor!

Today is Tuesday, December 16th and Day 20 of Cheer which is means Las Posadas begins! We had a great time learning about this holiday and the Pinata fun that accompanies it!

We also lit the next candle on the Menorah and added our snowflake! That Yulelad was at it again and was almost mistaken for a pinata!

Today is Monday December 15th and the 19th Day of Cheer known as Baking Spirits Bright! We had delicious muffins and the decorative designs were lovely and unique! It was also the second day of Hanukkah and the second candle was lit! In went another Snowflake and the Yulelad showed up in the middle of a Scrabble game and during Bingo!
