Founded by Stephanie Johnson in Taylorville, Illinois, Just Right Eating was built upon the principles of providing meals in correct portions, using fresh ingredients, offering a variety of delicious flavors, affordable pricing options, and minimal preparation time for busy people on the move who want a balanced diet. Our current Hedley location was opened in 2013 and expanded operations to include Grab-n-Go meals and increased their meal-making and delivery capacity. All meals are considered heart healthy, diabetic beneficial, and prepared to prevent and manage disease. Meals can be found, low carb, plant based, vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten free. We service a wide area of central Illinois

Our Story

Founded by Stephanie Johnson, and headquartered in Springfield, Illinois, Just Right Eating was built upon the principles of providing meals in correct portions, using fresh ingredients, offering a variety of delicious flavors, affordable pricing options, and minimal preparation time for busy people on the move who want a balanced diet. The pre-made meal company started with a small kitchen in Taylorville, Illinois and its newest location on Springfield’s westside opened just after Labor Day in 2013. This new state-of-the-art kitchen expanded operations to include grab-n-go meals and increased their meal making capacity. Meals range from low-calorie and gluten-free to low-card and heart-healthy (for special meal restrictions, please contact Just Right Eating). Since opening their Springfield location, Just Right Eating has widened their delivery radius to include Jacksonville, Champaign, and our Grab-n-Go meals are available at select retailers including FitClub South.
