I want to let you know that beginning **February 1st**, a **3.99% service charge** will be added to all credit card payments. I’ve done my best to avoid this, but unfortunately it’s now necessary. I truly appreciate your understanding.

For PayPal payments processed as *business transactions*, there will also be an upcharge. To avoid these fees, you’re welcome to use **Venmo** or **PayPal “friends and family”**, which won’t incur extra charges.

I’ll still gladly accept **cash and checks** if that’s easier for you.

Relaxation

One benefit that could come with massage therapy is relaxation.

In the moment, it’s possible to feel a complete release of tension in our muscles. Sometimes we don’t know how much tension we actually carry around in our bodies. Massages are a great way to try and physically release anything you can’t shake.

Relaxation massage is similar to a Swedish massage that uses gentle, flowing strokes and light to moderate pressure to help promote relaxation, increase circulation, and reduce stress. The primary purpose will be to help you relax, and the massage therapist will probably move at a slower pace and use light pressure with the intention of helping to relax tired, tense muscles, and can be a great way to help you unwind from a stressful day

*Oh, Oogie is going to miss this girl when she finds her forever home… if only someone would give her the chance.** 🥺 These two love to play together, and it’s heartbreaking that she’s still waiting—since *March*!

She was dumped and left to survive on her own. Thankfully, she was trapped and brought to Menard County Animal Control. No one came for her. She was overlooked again and again. We brought her to the WILD side hoping for a fresh start… but still, no interest.

Meanwhile, backyard breeders keep selling puppies while this incredible soul waits.

Yes, she’s shy at first. Guarded. Wouldn’t you be, if someone threw you away? But once she trusts you—*wow*. She’s a cuddler, a fetch queen, and a total goofball with her favorite toys.

She’s learning to share, especially with dogs she vibes with. She loves her kennel—it’s her safe space when new people come around.

She’s smart. Sensitive. And so deserving of love.

All she needs is someone patient. Someone kind. Someone who sees past the hesitation and into her heart.

**She’s not broken. She’s blooming.** 🌸

To All My Wonderful Pet Sitting Clients,**

Just a quick heads-up: I will not be available for pet sitting from **December 10th through January 10th** this year.

After years of being lovingly tethered to leashes and litter boxes, I’ve decided to take this time to be with my kids—making memories, chasing spontaneity, and maybe even running away for a bit (no itinerary, just freedom!). This season, it’s our turn to be untied and unplugged.

I hope this gives you plenty of time to find a trusted sitter for the holidays. I know how much your fur babies mean to you, and I’m so grateful for the trust you’ve placed in me to care for them. It’s never easy to step away, but this year is about reclaiming time with my family.

Thank you for understanding—and for being part of the reason I love what I do. Wishing you and your pets a joyful, peaceful holiday season.

Those that buy from breeders. Know you are the reason so many have died in shelters! You yourself have let dogs be killed! Don't blame the rescues, the pounds and animal control. Blame yourself.
We are trying to save them. But because of you supporting breeders. And not the shelters. You are helping to kill them!

Meet My New Foster Queen 👑

She’s beautiful, skinny, and already working that runway strut like she owns the place. Don’t worry—I'll fatten her up with love, treats, and second chances. Because that's what rescue is: second chances.

Meanwhile... animal control is bursting at the seams. Too many sweet souls behind cold bars, waiting for the love they deserve. And yet? People keep handing cash to backyard breeders.

Here’s the brutal truth:
👉 When shelters have no choice but to euthanize—blame the buyers.
👉 When another dog gets overlooked while someone brags about a "designer breed"—blame the ignorance.
👉 Every time someone chooses profit over compassion—they fuel the problem.

We do our part. We open our homes, our wallets, and our hearts. But rescue work shouldn't have to exist just to clean up the mess others keep creating.

So adopt. Foster. Volunteer. Speak up. Be part of the solution—not the reason innocent lives are lost.

And to those still buying into breeder BS? Wake up.
