's Grilled Cheese Experience results are in, and our caregivers and visitors have set the record for most grilled cheese sandwiches purchased at a single location during the event: 1,288 sandwiches in total! 🧀🍞

“I am grateful to our Food Services team for hosting a really fun event, especially (Chef) Stephen Dukes for creating the menu of so many unique grilled cheese sandwiches,” says Chef Jon Sutten, general manager of the Food & Nutrition Services. “Knowing that the Grilled Cheese Experience at RiverBend raised $2,576 for Food for Lane County is amazing!”

We are honored to have had the opportunity to participate in the annual Grilled Cheese Experience to help to provide meals for families. Thank you!

This past February, our Labor and Delivery unit at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend delivered and welcomed 215 babies, including five sets of twins!

A new chapter in rehabilitation care is taking shape in our community.

PeaceHealth is building a 67,000-square-foot inpatient rehabilitation hospital on International Way next to the RiverBend Annex. The facility will expand care from 27 to 42 inpatient beds and provide intensive nursing, physical, occupational and speech therapy for adults recovering from stroke, brain or spinal cord injury, neurological disease and other serious conditions.

The hospital will also include the region’s first dedicated brain injury unit, helping more patients recover close to home.

This project is a joint venture with Lifepoint Rehabilitation and reflects our continued commitment to expanding access to specialized care for the communities we serve in Oregon.
