Lane Workforce Partnership is proud to receive a $112,776 Statewide Apprenticeship Creation Grant through the Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission to expand behavioral health training pathways in Lane County. This investment strengthens our region’s ability to recruit and train professionals equipped to serve individuals experiencing crisis and high-acuity behavioral health needs. This proposal was shaped through strong community collaboration with letters of support from PeaceHealth and Lane Education Service District (Lane ESD).

With this funding, partners will:
• Launch Lane ESD’s Behavioral Health Careers Pre-Apprenticeship CTE Program
• Establish two new behavioral health apprenticeship programs in Lane County, building on proven BOLI models

These initiatives will create accessible, sustainable pathways into behavioral health careers and strengthen Lane County’s talent pipeline. This proposal was informed by multi-year community convenings co-led by PeaceHealth and shaped through the collective expertise of the Lane County Healthcare Industry Sector Partnership, whose leadership helped define the needs and strategies that guided this work. Special thank you to Lane Community Health Council, Lane County Medical Society, and Collaborative EDO for coordinating health care providers who shaped this proposal.
