As National Disability Employment Awareness Month comes to a close, we’re reminded that valuing the talents of people with disabilities and other disadvantages should be a year-round commitment.

For employers, this commitment means stronger teams, improved retention, and proven business results. Together, we can create workplaces where everyone belongs.

We congratulate Viability Board Member Pamela Toledo Molina for being part of this amazing initiative! All the things they tell me I can't do) was recently published in her native Chile where one of the chapters was dedicated to Pamela's experience as a child growing up with a disability! In Pamela's own words:
"...In Chile, where people with disabilities are invisible and undervalued, this initiative points in the right direction deconstructing stereotypes and paradigms since childhood... When they tell you you can't do it, you must respond : well, see how I do it!" Berkshire DHILS - Viability Western Mass DHILS - Viability Massachusetts State Association of the Deaf, Inc

We are deeply grateful to the talented artists from our Olympus program for their stunning fall painting that brings such vibrant life to our space. Their skillful use of rich autumn hues, from golden yellows to deep crimsons and warm orange, capturing the essence of the season with remarkable creativity and passion. Through their brushstrokes and artistic vision, they’ve transformed a simple canvas into a celebration of color and emotion, reminding us all of the beauty that exists in nature and the power of artistic expression to uplift and inspire. Their work doesn’t just decorate our walls; it enriches our community and demonstrates the incredible talent and dedication within Viability’s day programs.
