The Joplin Day Program is jumping into 2026 with a calendar full of winter-themed fun and hands-on activities!

Here’s what’s coming up:

🐧 Build a Penguin Activity – January 5

🎬 Movie in the Auditorium– January 9 at 1:00 p.m.

❄️ Arctic Habitat Project on display in the Lobby – January 16

🛷 Sledding crafts, snowball math, and winter-themed lessons all month long

🍪 Lemon Crinkle Cookies in Cooking Class – January 30

📅 Reminder: The program will be closed Monday, January 19, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

El Dorado Springs Day Program is kicking off 2026 with a month full of creativity, movement, and winter fun! ❄️

Here’s what’s ahead this January:

🎳 Bowling in Stockton – January 6 & 27 ($6)

🎨 Crafts, trivia, and hands-on activities like “Raincloud in a Jar,” snowball art, and frozen balloon experiments

🎤 Karaoke, Disney trivia, and Minute to Win It in the auditorium

🎂 Birthday celebration on January 30

The fun’s already in motion, and we can’t wait to keep it going all month long!

The Springfield Region recently hosted its annual winter holiday party, featuring a Polar Express theme! We came dressed in our favorite pajamas, enjoyed the photo booths, and celebrated together.

We were grateful to welcome State Representatives Melanie Stinnett and Stephanie Hein For Missouri, who took time out of their day to attend and share meaningful conversations with our Firefly community. Their presence meant a great deal to everyone involved.

Thank you as well to Nixa Meal Prep Co. for providing a wonderful meal and desserts that helped make the day special. We appreciate all who helped make this event a memorable and joyful celebration!

Our Rolla Fireflies enjoyed participating in the annual Christmas Parade on December 6! Staff and clients walked and drove in the parade, proudly representing Firefly with our banner, matching T-shirts, and plenty of swag to share.

It was a great opportunity to connect with the Rolla community and be a part of a festive local tradition.
