The Excellence in Mental Health Award, presented for the first time in 2017, celebrates innovative practices in mental health treatment. Recipients should be agencies who have implemented new or emerging technologies to improve treatment outcomes. Organizations that support integration with primary healthcare, implemented efforts to maintain access to services or improved quality for consumers are encouraged to apply.

This year's recipient, Kenneth Young Center (KYC) is a leading community Mental Health Center servicing Chicago's northwest suburbs with more than 35 interconnected services. KYC walks along community members through every step of their behavioral health journey, meeting them where they arre and helping them achieve lasting stability and hope.

Congratulations, KYC!
