We are proud to see our CEO, Jud DeLoss, co-author this important piece in the Chicago Sun-Times calling attention to a major gap in Medicare coverage for substance use disorders. This is the work we're committed to every day—advocating for policies that expand access, strengthen our system, and ensure people can get the care they need, no matter their age.

The overdose death rate for adults over 65 continues to climb, but Medicare lags behind Medicaid and many private insurers when it comes to coverage.
