What a great week at The Montvale!

First, our Executive Director Sarah taught us some ASL to celebrate Deaf Awareness Month! We learned how to sign our names and sing Happy Birthday! Did you know Sarah has a degree in ASL?!

Later, our resident lead craft club made mod podge bunny rabbits!

We ended our week with a Birthday Bash themed Happy Hour for all our April birthdays!

A core principle of our Arrow Senior Living Community is “I choose to have a sense of Childlike Wonder and be Fascinated, Not Frustrated”. So, when we had low turnout for our book reading, our staff and residents pivoted in the cutest way!

For our monthly Story Corner, resident Gerri read “Ada Twist, Scientist” to our weekend staff! Hopefully next month we will have some kids in attendance but we’re so grateful for the way our team came together to celebrate this monthly tradition!

We held our first Montvale Agrarianiacs (Say that 3 times fast) meeting today, spearheaded by our Plant Operations Director Aaron! We decided which vegetables we want in our garden for this spring. We can’t wait to share the progress with you all! Stay tuned for updates!
