Here are a few simple ways to help yourself recover:

🔹 Stretch for 5–10 minutes
Loosen up tight hips, low back, and shoulders.

🔹 Drink extra water
Helps your muscles and joints bounce back faster.

🔹 Take a gentle walk
Movement increases circulation and reduces stiffness.

🔹 Use heat
A warm shower or heating pad can ease tension in tired muscles.

As you prep for the big day, here are a few quick tips to keep your back happy while you wrangle turkeys, casserole dishes, and kitchen chaos:

🦃 1. Bend your knees, not your back
Turkeys are heavier (and slipperier!) than they look — squat to lift, keep it close to your body.

🔥 2. Avoid leaning over the counter too long
Whether you’re chopping veggies or rolling dough, stand tall and take breaks to stretch.

🍽️ 3. Don’t twist while carrying dishes
Turn your whole body instead of twisting your spine.

💧 4. Stay hydrated
It helps your muscles and joints handle the extra holiday workload.
