BIG thanks to those of you reading and passing my book along. Guidance from the Universe has been out in the world for one year and I still cannot believe how well it's doing and all because of you, the readers.

Books can be an extra purchase, right? With our dollars tighter than ever, I know how hard it is personally to spend more on the extras, those things we don't need. But what I'm discovering from the feedback I'm receiving received is that this book is needed, now more than ever. THANK YOU!

I thought 2026 would be a slow-down for book promotion, but not so. I'm pleased that I'm being contacted and I'm good with getting on the road.

Some highlights for 2026: I'll be recording an audio book so you can look for that at some point. I'll be in Edmonds, WA, New York City, and this month am hosting a one year anniversary community event (cake, raffle, gifts for everyone, and more) in Eugene at Tsunami books. You are all invited. Plus, this year, I'm available for a zoom or in-person book club event. I was invited to a book club last month and had a blast.

Another weekend of live music. Johnny and I live in the PNW where it’s gray, rainy, and foggy all day and all night. Without sun, I get chilled to the bone. But I am not miserable. I love this place where talented musicians have stayed after graduating from the U of O’s jazz deot. and others have come seeking an easier pace. No matter the weather, our mood, or how tired we are - Johnny and I get out at night to enjoy Eugene’s music scene.

Tonight is extra special. It’s Johnny’s birthday. Am ever grateful to this guy. We make each other better. It’s a true partnership of support, respect, and being inspired by our individual creative endeavors. We are flourishing.

2025 Reading List is now on Substack. Many of these books have won awards. Loved them all, except Murakami's memoir which I only liked. But will search out a novel of his this year. All my reviews are on Amazon and Goodreads.

Take what you need and leave the rest.
Nines are all about endings. Finishing something. A very final letting go of what isn’t working for us whether that's in the realm of the physical, emotional, spiritual, or ?? But whatever realm it falls, it is time to put it behind us and this card is the assurance that we'll be better for it.

Dec. 26th 2008 was my first date with Johnny. We met at the Wandering Goat Coffee House at night to hear the band Scrambled Ape. I didn’t like meeting for states at night but after speaking with Johnny on the phone, I felt differently. Tonight we celebrated that first meet as we always do with drinks and music. Unfortunately, the band Scrambled Ape is no longer, but thanks to listening to great live music is still an option.
