We want you to know that the Greater Food Bank of Western Massachusetts has various Mobile Food Banks throughout Western Massachusetts available to the public (and this is no trick!).

Everyone is welcome to visit a Mobile Food Bank and get free groceries regardless of other services you might receive.
The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts has an automated phone line to check if a Mobile Food Bank or Brown Bag is canceled due to weather, the number is: (413)-419-0079.

Gardening the Community – Gardening the Community is planning to purchase eggs, milk and butter to give to SNAP customers who have even a penny balance on their EBT card which will enable them to use their full HIP benefit at the farm store which is the only fixed location in the greater Springfield/Holyoke area where SNAP recipients can use their benefit year round. For residents who have exhausted all of their SNAP benefits GTC will provide $25 worth of produce as well as the milk and eggs. Visit https://www.gardeningthecommunity.org/ for more information!
United Way of Pioneer Valley - United Way of Pioneer Valley is stepping up to meet the surge in food insecurity caused by the potential loss of SNAP benefits. The organization operates two community pantries in Springfield and Holyoke, serving hundreds of individuals each week, and supports more than 27 partner agencies through its network of micro-pantries.
