When someone sets their mind to it and has an ‘I will do this’ attitude regardless of any obstacles, recovery Is possible!!! Way to go Darrell!
And this is why we do this:
I am writing to share the success story of Darrell Graves, who entered New Beginnings Sanctuary/Simmering Center on February 3, 2024, immediately following his release from the Department of Corrections. At that time, he possessed only the items provided to him upon his release.
During his time in our program, Darrell participated in the ICTS program, attended multiple daily classes, maintained full-time employment, and adhered to all program guidelines. After completing our budgeting class, he successfully saved enough money to purchase a vehicle and secure all necessary legal documentation.
Darrell graduated from our 12-month program and stayed longer than his completion date. During the graduation ceremony, he credited the structure and resources of New Beginnings Sanctuary/Simmering Center for his success. Darrell is currently working in our respite care facility while attending college part-time to become a substance abuse counselor.bor
