Your smile is your unspoken introduction.

It's really what people first see and think of when they meet you.

Have you ever seen a speaker that doesn't want to be a speaker getting up on stage? They look kind of petrified. They're walking up and they're doing this guarded thing.

Or have you seen a keynote speaker that's paid the big bucks coming up to blow the roof off the place? They're skipping onto the stage, smiling, pointing at people, high-fiving. They're smiling guaranteed.

That's what a smile gives you.

I see people with teeth they aren't confident in being very reserved. Throwing out mustaches. Talking with what we call a guarded smile. In family photos just kind of doing that reserved thing.

It takes a lot away from a smile.

A smile is how we perceive someone's mood, their attitude, the overall vibe of that person.

It's just such an important component.

Look, I get it - a lot of people want veneers. And there's a lot of different opinions out there on what makes a good one.

But here's what I notice a lot - veneers that are too white, too blocky, too perfect. They just look fake to me.

What I try to go for is something that actually looks natural. Teeth that have character, the right shape, the right proportions.

Are they gonna be super bright white? Probably not. But they're gonna look good. They're gonna look real.

You don't have to go for that bright blocky look to get a smile you love.

People come in all the time saying "this is probably the worst set of teeth you've ever seen."

And I'm like, hey listen - I went to dental school in Kansas City. I've seen it all.

My goal isn't to judge you. My goal is to figure out what YOU want and see if we can make it happen.

Now here's the thing - if the behavior that caused the damage hasn't changed, we're gonna be right back here in three years.

I don't want to see you waste your money on that.

So it's really just me feeling out what you're willing to do long-term.
It's more like counseling honestly.

Nothing's too far gone. You've got hope. We just gotta make sure we're aligned on what it's gonna take.

Not all veneers are created equal.

I’ve seen a lot of “after” photos online that just don’t sit right with me—blocky, uniform, flat, way too white.

To me, a good veneer looks like it belongs in your face. It reflects light naturally. It flows with your lips, your eyes, your personality. It has character.

It’s more than just white teeth—it’s about harmony, shape, detail, and subtlety.

That’s what I aim for with every smile I design.

It’s not about doing “good enough” work.

It’s about knowing that what I created is going to make someone’s life better—today, tomorrow, and 10 years from now.

I’m not interested in being just another dentist. I want my work to mean something.
That moment when someone looks in the mirror and tears up—or walks out and their spouse gives them the biggest smile—that’s what fuels me.
