Your healing is not just about becoming someone new. It is the slow, brave unlearning of the ways you were taught to survive instead of live. It changes the way you love, the way you soften toward yourself in moments of doubt, and the way you choose truth even when comfort would be easier.

Each time you respond to yourself with honesty instead of judgment, you rewrite something old. Growth does not always announce itself, but it leaves quiet evidence in your boundaries, your self-trust, and the way you no longer abandon yourself to be accepted.

This is the kind of healing that lasts.

Today's thought is for tough times

The problem isn’t that people can’t build wealth. It’s that they can’t stand looking “normal” while doing it.

Normal isn’t broke.

Normal is disciplined.

If we expect everything around to workout and fall into place then we will be very disappointed. If we focus on moving forward, learning new skills, finding new opportunities then we will see that life catches up. You lead the way ❤️

Houston billionaires Nancy and Rich Kinder have pledged to give away 95% of their $11 billion fortune, investing it back into schools, parks, the arts, and public spaces — choosing a legacy of community impact over accumulation.

We live in a time when taking responsibility for our planet is no longer optional—it’s essential. MrBeast’s TeamSeas project has removed a staggering 34 million pounds of trash from the ocean, a feat that shows the power of collective action when we come together with a shared purpose. This initiative isn’t just about cleaning up; it’s about reminding us all that the health of our planet is in our hands.

When we look at the state of our oceans, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, like our individual efforts are too small to make a difference. Yet, when millions of people unite for a cause, the impact is undeniable. This image isn’t just about numbers; it’s about the hope that one day we can restore the natural beauty that we’ve lost. It’s a reminder that our choices today impact future generations.

MrBeast’s commitment to this cause underscores an important lesson: change doesn’t always happen overnight, but with persistence and unity, we can create the world we want to live in. Every action we take, no matter how small, contributes to a larger movement. The ocean may seem vast, but every piece of plastic removed is one less piece threatening its delicate balance.

What small action can you take today to help protect our planet? Let’s keep the conversation going and share ways we can all contribute. 🌍♻️

After Europe banned bee-killing neonicotinoid pesticides, insect populations began to recover across agricultural landscapes.

As insects returned, food webs were restored, and insect-eating birds that had been declining for years started to come back.
Protecting one species can help an entire ecosystem heal.

After Europe banned bee killing neonicotinoid pesticides, insect numbers began to recover across farmland.

That rebound restored food webs, and insect eating birds long in decline started returning. Protect one species, and entire ecosystems respond.

Please don't ghost your commitments. A quick text or call takes a moment or two but saves so much trouble for the other party. As a dear friend says 'Any opportunity o be a jer, is also the opportunity to not be a jerk.' If you don't want it done to you, don't do it to others.

Folks, when setting up mobile appointments please be sure to give your contact info as well. I've tried verifying which of 2 nursing homes the client was in to no avail. The lady who made the appointment has not responded to either yesterday's verification text or my inquiry today. My apologies for being crass, but it's my time & income being wasted. Particularly when I drove out of town wasting an hour using a bad address.
