It looks simple....It is not.

The Sit to Rise Test is a fascinating (and well established) way to look at important aspects of physical function like mobility, balance, strength, flexibility, and control.

In this video, I explain how the test works, how it is scored, and then perform it with a perfect 10/10 score.

πŸ“Š How scoring works:
You start with 10 points.
Points are deducted each time a hand, knee, or forearm is used for support when sitting or rising.
Each visible loss of balance costs half a point.

πŸ† General score guide:
8–10 = Strong overall performance
6–7 = Fairly good, with room for improvement
Below 6 = May suggest limitations in mobility, balance, or strength worth paying attention to
