🌸🍭 Sharing a Little Sweetness in Springfield! 🍭🌸

Today we dropped off some Life Saver “flowers” to a few Assisted Living communities in Springfield as a small way to say thank you for the incredible work they do every day caring for older adults in our community.

It’s always a pleasure connecting with such wonderful teams and partners.

And the fun isn’t over yet! We also have baskets ready for National Oreo Day on Friday, which we will be delivering to the rest of our stops.

We love celebrating and supporting the amazing people who serve our seniors every day.

🎭💜💚 Mardi Gras Celebration! 💚💜🎭

We brought the spirit of New Orleans right to our community as we celebrated Mardi Gras together! Residents enjoyed watching the Mardi Gras parade from New Orleans on YouTube, learning about the history and meaning behind the King Cake tradition, and testing their knowledge with Mardi Gras trivia.

Of course, no celebration would be complete without delicious King Cake and festive beads to match! It was a wonderful afternoon filled with learning, laughter, and celebration.

Our team delivered these adorable (and delicious!) Groundhog Day donuts to brighten everyone’s afternoon. A little sweetness goes a long way in lifting spirits!

Santa’s helpers were busy this morning delivering poinsettias to CM.
Everyone loved receiving something festive and cheerful, and they were especially appreciative to enjoy a gift that wasn’t sweets.
Tis the season to spread joy and a little holiday color wherever we go.

We had a sweet time at Arcadia Care on the Hill yesterday as residents decorated and enjoyed their own homemade cookies. The room was full of frosting, sprinkles, smiles, and holiday cheer. Moments like these make the season extra special.

First Baptist Church visited Arcadia Care on the Hill to share Christmas carols and hand out goodie bags to our residents. Their voices, kindness, and holiday spirit filled the room and brought so many smiles.

Hearts Full of Gratitude!

The rain may have been cold, but our hearts were full! This past Friday, Region 1 came together to deliver complete Thanksgiving dinner boxes to local seniors in need.

We’re incredibly thankful to our partners, Senior Services of Central Illinois and Springfield Supportive Living for helping us identify families to bless this holiday season.

A special shout-out to Humphrey's Market, a beloved Springfield staple since 1932, for providing the delicious frozen dinner boxes.

Despite the dreary weather, the day was a beautiful success — filled with community spirit, teamwork, and the joy of giving back.
