Not all teen relationship conflict is "just drama." Sometimes it's a communication breakdown.

💜 February is and in our newest Clinically Yours podcast epi, Megan, Inpatient Therapist, discusses how understanding communication styles can reduce misunderstandings, prevent conflict, and help teens build safer, more respectful relationships.

♥️💛💚 Celebrating through culture, community, and knowledge.

Did you know? Dr. Solomon Carter Fuller, the first Black psychiatrist in the U.S., was a trailblazer in Alzheimer’s disease research—helping shape modern psychiatry.

Thank you to Jalisa, our Recreational Aid, for putting together this meaningful display for staff and visitors.

Join us for our next no-cost monthly virtual training on Thursday, 2/12/26, as Kirsty Nolan, Community Impact & Training Specialist, Chaddock Learning Network, explains the typical progression of caregivers in child and adolescent treatment. When we think about child and adolescent treatment services, we don’t always consider the journey of the caregiver, in fact, sometimes the caregiver isn’t even present at all. In this presentation, participants will discover ways to facilitate and gain caregiver engagement.

🎉 Today we celebrate Dr. Nepal, our Medical Director, and the heart she brings to everything she does.

Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication to both patients and staff set the tone for care at Lincoln Prairie. She leads with empathy, listens with intention, and shows up every day with one goal in mind — helping others heal.

We are deeply grateful for her leadership and the impact she makes on so many lives. 💙

📸 Pictured here with her “why” displayed in our lobby—a daily reminder of the heart behind our care.

Happy National Womens Physician Day, Dr. Nepal.

♥️ February is —a time to focus on the importance of cardiovascular health. Did you know heart health and mental health are deeply interconnected? They are in a two-way relationship, where poor cardiovascular health often triggers anxiety, depression, and significant stress, while chronic mental health issues can lead to physical heart damage. A healthy heart promotes emotional well-being, better energy levels, and improved cognitive function, while heart disease can reduce quality of life through fear, social isolation, and fatigue.
