INANA Members – Your Support Matters Now More Than Ever

Every day, CRNAs in Indiana are providing safe, high-quality anesthesia care to patients across our state. Yet, unnecessary restrictions continue to limit our ability to practice to the full extent of our training and expertise.

Right now, we have a critical opportunity: expanding supervisory options to include podiatrists and dentists. This change would increase patient access to anesthesia services, especially in underserved communities, while strengthening the role of CRNAs in Indiana’s healthcare system.

Political Updates

Meeting with Governor Braun
This summer, thanks to the connections of our INANA Board Member, Maggie, we had the opportunity to meet with Governor Braun. He expressed his full support for our efforts, and we’ve already begun collaborating with his Secretary of Health to start building a solid framework for the future.

Funding from AANA
We’re excited to announce that INANA has been approved for additional funds from the AANA! These resources will allow us to expand our efforts this session by securing more lobbyists and launching stronger PR campaigns to amplify our message.

Looking Ahead to Session
The board is energized by this funding and our strategy for the upcoming session. With your support, we can continue moving in the right direction. Please consider setting up a recurring PAC donation to strengthen our advocacy efforts.
Our profession is one of instant results—we treat hypotension and see improvement in seconds. Legislative progress, however, takes patience. Together, step by step, we’ll achieve meaningful change.
