Residents enjoyed a festive stroll through a hallway glowing with lights, tinsel, and a cheerful Santa display complete with candy canes and plenty of holiday magic. A simple and sweet way to celebrate the season together.

Every Friday, our halls get a little warmer with our winter Cocoa Cart for our staff and residents.

A huge thank you to Heartland Hospice for generously sponsoring our cocoa cart and sending Santa and his elf to spread extra Christmas cheer and smiles throughout the building.

These small moments of joy mean so much to our residents and staff, and we’re so grateful for community partners who help make them possible.

Our Staff Christmas Bash was an absolute hit
From the ornament swap, raffles, games, trivia, and prizes to the amazing food cooked with love by our passionate Dietary Manager Pauline, the afternoon was full of laughs and good vibes.

Some staff even said it was the best day they’ve ever had here at Arc at Sangamon Valley, and honestly, we felt that. It was so special to kick back for an hour, relax with our hardworking, fun-loving coworkers, and celebrate the season and our many blessings together.

Thank you to each and every one of our incredible team members. You work so hard every day, and you truly deserve to be celebrated and appreciated

So much holiday joy in one visit

Laketown Elementary’s 1st and 2nd grade music classes filled our space with Christmas songs, shared stories with residents, and even brought along a special visit from Santa. Smiles all around!

Wrapping Paper Rollin’

Yesterday’s Wednesday workout got a festive upgrade as our residents used wrapping paper rolls as their “weights” for a fun stretch and cardio session. There were lots of laughs, lots of movement, and plenty of holiday spirit rolling around the room.

Our favorite furry friends stopped by for their monthly visit and they came with bells on, literally. This month’s dog group brought extra holiday cheer with jingling collars, Santa hats, and plenty of cuddles.
Our residents lit up the moment they walked in. These visits always bring so much joy, and today was no exception.
Thank you to our amazing pet therapy volunteers for making the season even brighter.
