This one yoga tip changed my wellness journey forever:

Listen when your body whispers, so it does not have to scream.

For years I thought yoga meant pushing harder, going deeper, holding longer. I treated my mat like another place to perform instead of a place to feel.

Everything shifted when I started asking during class:
“Does this actually feel good in my body?”
If the answer was no, I backed off, modified, or rested.

Suddenly yoga became:
• A space to hear my body instead of override it
• A way to calm my nervous system, not stress it out
• A practice I could actually look forward to, not dread
