Think you might have diabetes? Here are the signs to watch for. Early detection can save lives.

Diabetes can sneak up on you—many people don’t even realize they have it. Knowing the symptoms can help you catch it early and take control of your health. Here’s what to look out for:

🩺 Common Symptoms of Diabetes:

Feeling very thirsty all the time

Urinating more often than usual, especially at night

Unexplained weight loss even if you're eating normally

Feeling tired or weak most of the day

Blurred vision

Slow-healing cuts or sores

Tingling or numbness in hands or feet

Frequent infections (skin, gums, or urinary tract)

These symptoms can develop slowly, especially with type 2 diabetes, so they’re easy to miss. If you notice any of these signs, don’t wait—talk to your doctor and ask about a simple blood sugar test.

👶 Pregnant? Gestational diabetes often has no symptoms, so routine screening is key.
