01/01/2023
Starting a new business at the start of 2020, I couldn’t envision that a pandemic would be changing my plans barely two months later when many businesses had to shut down, including my new practice. Along with everyone else, I waited, I educated myself, I figured out what needed to happen and reopened in June 2020. Over the next nine months, I worked to establish a regular clientele and built my numbers to a place I could step away from work as a Home Health RN. Since March 2021, I have been able to put my focus solely on massage therapy and while it’s been challenging at times to be a sole proprietor, I have no regrets and am looking forward to continuing to learn and grow in the profession. What does that mean for 2023?
~I have worked with all my regular clients and most are now scheduled through December 2023. I am not currently able to take on any new regular clients, but do have an occasional opening here and there to fit someone in. Feel free to call or message and I can let you know if I have availability.
~I have done my best to keep my prices doable, but as of 1/1/23, they are increasing as follows:
$30/30 minutes, $60/60 minutes, and $90/90 minutes.
~My working days continue to primarily be Tuesday-Friday with varying hours. I’m learning the balance of not working every evening and taking days off to keep other life things in balance so I can be more present during your sessions.
~As I seek to grow as a massage therapist, I am actively working on certifications in cupping, and myoskeletal alignment techniques. As a certified personal trainer, I am also working towards a Human Movement Specialist certification that can also be used within my massage therapy practice. The more I learn, the more I realize how much there is yet to know. Onward!
Thank you all again for your continued support! Without you, there wouldn’t be a Heart2Hand Therapeutic Massage.
