April is stress awareness month.
Here are some techniques to decrease stress.
1. Practice mindfulness. Notice what is causing you stress and ask yourself what you can do about it.
2. Breathe your way to calmness. When you feel anxiety stop what you were doing and take three slow deep breaths.
3. Exercise, especially outside and with friends helps to decrease stress hormones.
4. Practice good sleep hygiene.
5. Be kind to those who are stressed and anxious. This will make you both feel better!
