Every child is different, so it depends. But, you’re on the right track if you are looking into private services! This shows that you, as a parent/guardian, are aware of the need for your child’s speech/language to improve. Parent involvement is so important in moving the process along quickly! Your encouragement and work with your child at home will make a world of difference!

Meet my little sister, Anne (and my screaming baby 😂).

I became a speech therapist because I saw first hand what speech therapy did for Anne. She is more confident, she is able to express her thoughts and feelings, she can make friends, and…she tells the best jokes.

Speech therapy changed her life.

I’m so glad that I get to change the lives of those I work with.

I’m not saying binkies are bad, but if you use them for TOO LONG they can definitely impact your child negatively.
