• Causes high fever, cough, red eyes, and a widespread rash
• Can lead to pneumonia, ear infections, hearing loss, and brain swelling
• About 1 in 5 kids with measles needs medical care
• Even healthy children can become critically ill
• Measles weakens the immune system for months, making kids more likely to get other infections
