Gotta give a major shout out to Keysha Stewart! 📣

She’s a mom, spouse, business owner manages a staff and has a back to back schedule.

When we met a year ago, she needed to make a change! Less about changing the numbers on the scale and more about the intangibles…not wanting to feel “saggy or old”, unable to run with kids, or out of shape. She wasn’t quite sure where to start or if she could even fit it all in. 🤯

The deadlift is one of the most challenging yet underused exercises. In order to properly perform a deadlift you need to be able to stabilize your core through entire movement. This requires:

✅ Proper posture
✅ Having a definite mind muscle connection
✅ A strong core and ability to brace it on cue
✅ Mobility to not compromise your low back

Shout out to Jessica for developing all of these areas and losing 10” and 1% body fat over the course of four weeks only by changing the way she exercised!

We all have a picture of who we ought to be, but along the way life happens, schedules fill, careers demand, family activities ensue, etc. In my early twenties, I gave up on my health & fitness for other priorities. I ate only what was easy, was enslaved to my schedule, and believed I just didn’t have the time or energy for exercise. Years later as a newlywed, I made a decision with my spouse to not become a statistic, but to own a healthy lifestyle. A few things happened after making this decision:

I suddenly had more time than I had realized to go the gym.

I now had more sustainable energy than before.

I achieved the physical goals I set out to accomplish and in turn gained more confidence in myself in the process.
