Having an elderly family member diagnosed with Parkinson's makes significant changes to the patient's routine and those living with them.
Following the diagnosis of the disease, the patient and their family should analyze what adjustments should be made in their daily life to provide them with a greater quality of life.

Assisting the patient in performing some actions, adapting the Parkinson's habitats, following the doctor's prescribed medication schedules, and attending frequent consultations are some of the necessary actions.

Among the main motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease are:

• Slow movement, called Bradicinesia

• Agitation or tremor while resting

• Stiffness in the arms, legs or trunk

• Problems with balance and falls, also called postural instability

• Mood changes such as depression, anxiety, irritability, insomnia, and constipation are classified as non-motor indications that assist in the diagnosing process of Parkinson's disease.
