Meet Sydney: Our Resident Caffeine Dealer & Part-Time Private Investigator ☕🕵️‍♀️

If you walk in and hear a mile-a-minute conversation before you even see a face, you’ve found Sydney. She’s the only person we know who can steam the perfect oat milk latte, whisk up a ceremonial matcha, and give you a full life update (yours and hers) all in under 60 seconds. 🍵✨

She’s basically a local celebrity with a very specific set of skills:
Making drinks that taste like a hug.
Studying Child Development at Lindenwood University (the future kids are in good, highly caffeinated hands!).
Working her magic during the week at Little Guppy in St. Charles. 🐠👶

Now, a fair warning: Sydney has what some might call a "stalkerish" dedication to her regulars. If you change your hair or buy a new car, she will notice, she will ask about it, and she might already know your middle name. It’s not creepy; it’s just… thorough. 👁️👃👁️

She’s an "all-right dude" who keeps the vibes high, but if the morning rush gets too rowdy or you try to leave without saying goodbye, she’s got a message for you:

"I don't practice Santeria, but I do practice making the best matcha in town... so pull up a chair and let's talk about it!" 🎸🔥

Wonderful dog. I have Coal. He just turned 5months on the 10th of April. He’s a golden retriever/ pit mix. He’s gotten to the point of booping his nose or grabbing my attention that he needs to go outside. He’s gotten better about holding it in, until he can’t. I’ve loved being able to share my love and household with such a sweet baby I’ve gotten to call my own. Knowing he deserves better than such a busy household, it’s best I do what he needs.

The Duality of Sarah: Coffee Queen vs. Zen Master ☕🧘‍♀️

We have a theory that Sarah is actually two people in one trench coat.

During the day, she is the Goddess of the Grinds. She’ll serve you a 4-drink coffee flight with a smile so genuine you’d never guess she’s been smelling espresso beans since dawn.

She is the ultimate "Peace and Love" barista......until you ask for "extra, extra, extra" caramel drizzle. Then, the yoga teacher in her takes over. She’s not mad; she’s just disappointed in your chakras. 👁️

If you see her sprinting from the espresso machine to her car to make it to her night job, don't try to stop her for a napkin. She will hit you with the:

"Catch me outside, how about that?" 💅💨

But seriously—if you want to see Sarah in her true element (and maybe work off that caffeine buzz), go see her at Joy of Yoga in Brentwood!

Whether she’s pouring lattes or leading a vinyasa flow, she’s the best in the business.
