Merry Christmas Eve from all of us at Lake St. Charles! We have had the most magical holiday season! We’ve had many festive happy hours, we rang the bell for the Salvation Army, took “elfies” with residents during happy hour cart, made homemade snow globes, had a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, our Annual Christmas Extravaganza, and celebrated the season with good friends! ❤️🎄🎁🔔🎅🤶

We had the best time at our annual Mingle Jingle event! We had Santa and Mrs. Claus, wonderful food, ornament making, a Photo Booth, hot cocoa bar, and so much more! We are so grateful to have the best residents and families! It was so great getting to celebrate the holidays with everyone! 🎄🎅🤶☕️🎁

This week, our Assistant Administrator Emma Meyers received the opportunity to become the Administrator at NHC St. Charles! To celebrate her promotion, our staff and residents came together to share memories and advice as she embarks on her new adventure. Throughout her last three and a half years here, Emma has touched and changed so many lives. Her constant positivity, love, hard work, and ability to make everything better will always be remembered. Emma, you are so loved and appreciated, we wish you the best in your new role! 💕🎂💐✨

Happy Thanksgiving to all! This morning we are all watching the Macy’s day parade with warm coffee and casseroles from our kitchen ☕️🍳

Last weekend we had our annual Thanksgiving Feast with over 400 residents and families attending. Some of our servers even recruited their jazz band from St. Charles High School to play for us 🎶🎺🎷We are so thankful for all of our residents and families who attended. We are especially thankful for all of our staff for all of their hard work and commitment to making sure our residents have holidays filled with good food and fun. 🤩 🥰🦃

Today at Lake St. Charles, we proudly honored 32 incredible veterans who call our community home. We began the day at a moving Veterans Day ceremony at St. Charles Community College, followed by a special lunch and a sweet dessert social hour. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of honoring more than 1,000 veterans—and we remain deeply grateful for their courage and sacrifice. 🇺🇸
