This week’s Wellness Wins!

At St Clair Nursing Center wellness isn’t just a program-it’s a way of life. Through flourish wellness.,we create opportunities for our residents to live with vitality, meaning,and personal fulfillment at every age and ability. 

Tonight we took our first trip of the season to Santa‘s magical Kingdom. We had a fabulous time enjoying all the beautiful lights, decorations, and Christmas music!

This week's wellness wins!
At St Clair nursing center, wellness isn’t just a program – it’s a way of life. Through Flourish Wellness, we create opportunities for residents to live with vitality, meaning, and personal fulfillment at every age and ability. We explored two dimensions of wellness today, physical and social. We began our day with our senior wellness club getting exercise by playing kickball, which we sure love to do! This afternoon, we had an amazing group of students from our homeschool co-op here in St Clair come to visit us to play bingo and have a fun afternoon!

Afternoon pick me up karaoke style! We all got together this afternoon and “sang” sweet home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd. I’m not saying we’ll give up our day jobs to start a choir anytime soon, but I think we didn’t completely embarrass ourselves. Happy hump day everybody!

Today on Veterans Day, I'm deeply humbled to share a meaningful moment with these courageous men who selflessly serve our nation, listening to their inspiring stories over a wonderful barbecue lunch. It's a privilege to know them, and this small gesture is a heartfelt tribute to our veterans.

We had a productive day today, first off. We visited the local senior center in Saint Clair and conducted blood pressure checks for the elderly in the community. Then we engaged in physical activity by participating in a game of kickball. This afternoon, we unwound and explored Turkey via Activity Connection. All in all, we have had a great day !
