Due to weather conditions, Logan’s campus will be closed tomorrow, Monday, Jan. 26, 2026.

What will be impacted on Monday, Jan. 26?
➡️ All in-person classes have moved to virtual learning. ➡️ Students should check their email and Canvas for more information from faculty.

➡️ Logan University Health Centers will be closed for patient care. Students should check their email and Canvas for more information from clinical faculty.

We will continue to monitor the road conditions and will notify the community by 6:00 PM tomorrow, regarding any delays or closures that may impact our Tuesday schedule.

❄️ Protect Your Back This Winter ❄️

From shoveling snow to carrying boxes and even wrapping gifts on the floor, winter tasks can take a toll on your body. Here are a few quick tips to keep you moving comfortably:

🧘‍♀️Warm up first: A few minutes of light stretching or walking helps loosen your muscles before you shovel or lift.
🦵Lift smart: Bend at your knees, keep boxes close to your body and avoid twisting while you lift or carry.
❄️ Shovel safely: Push snow instead of lifting when you can, and take breaks to avoid overexertion.
🎁 Create a back-friendly workspace: Wrap presents on a table or counter instead of the floor to reduce strain.

With colder months ahead, here’s how to stay updated on Paraquad & Orthwein Center closures. Your safety is our priority! ❄

1. A voicemail will be placed stating we are closed for weather on the main Orthwein voicemail system at the gym: 314-289-4202.

2. Social media will be updated when we are closed for weather.
Please follow on Instagram or Facebook for updates.

3. An email from info@orthweincenter.org will be sent about our closure and planned ZOOM group exercise class schedule for the day.

4. An automated phone call/voicemail, text, and/or email will be sent from Paraquad.

Due to current road conditions and additional snow forecasted for tonight, Logan University will have a delayed start tomorrow, Tuesday, Dec. 2.

➡️Offices and the Health Centers will open at 9 AM.
➡️ In-person classes will begin with the third hour at 9:30 AM.

Logan’s Maintenance Team will be on campus early tomorrow morning to clear roads and parking lots. At minimum, the south entrance (nearest to Clayton Road) to campus will be open.

❗ Should weather conditions worsen and we need to close campus tomorrow, a communication will be sent by 7:30 AM tomorrow.
