Podiatric care for foot & ankle pain, bunions, hammertoes, plantar fasciitis, sprains, tendon injuries, and ingrown toenails. St.

Louis Foot and Ankle Institute specializes in surgical and nonsurgical treatment of all foot and ankle conditions, traumatic injuries, overuse syndromes, genetic anomalies, deformities, and arthritis. We treat complex problems related to nerves, muscles and bio-mechanics, as well as common ailments such as flat foot and fractures. Most people have foot or ankle problems during their lives. We often see patients who have not found relief with previous treatments. Some people have tolerated problems, thinking that discomfort is a natural part of aging. In many circumstances, however, we can offer treatment options that alleviate foot and ankle pain.

Medicine often asks us to give more of ourselves than the day seems to allow. Tonight, after an add-on case, I looked up to this view and was reminded that balance comes in the pauses. Grateful for the privilege of this work, the patients who trust me, and for the quiet beauty that waits outside the OR.
