Additional Group Support for your Clients.

Matthew Gibfried psychotherapy group

Starting Tuesday Nov 18 every Tuesday for 10 weeks.

Time: 6pm-7:15.

The fee is $250 private pay for the 10 sessions. It will be limited to 10 or less participants.

Not a didactic series as it will focus on meaningful interaction, feedback, and learning member to member and from the group facilitator.

Although there won't be a specific theme, topics explored will include but not be limited to :

Retirement adjustment and finding purpose
Empty nest or loss of social roles
Maintaining identity and self-esteem in later life
Coping with aging and changes in independence
Building new friendships and social networks
Maintaining family connections
Communication skills, assertiveness, and conflict resolution
Loneliness and strategies to combat social isolation
Navigating marriage after retirement
Dealing with the loss of loved ones.
Facing one's own mortality and life review.

Dr. Matthew Gibfried is an Internal Medicine Specialist in Saint Louis, Missouri. He graduated with honors from University Of Missouri, Columbia School Of Medicine in 2003. Having more than 22 years of diverse experiences, especially in INTERNAL MEDICINE, Dr. Matthew Gibfried affiliates with many hospitals including Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St Lukes Hospital, cooperates with many others. He also is a psychiatrist at Therapy Nest and sees clients at this practice.

Welcome Jordan Garber our Clinical Intern. Jordan is a masters level psychotherapist that is working towards licensure. She is a compassionate, empathetic being that cares very deeply for her clients. She uses CBT Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as her approach, among other theories.

A Tibetan singing bowl is a type of bowl that vibrates and produces a rich deep tone when played. Also known as singing bowls or Himalayan bowls, Tibetan singing bowls are said to promote relaxation and offer powerful healing properties.

Come gather with us practioners and get a little relaxation. If you are new to meditation don't worry this is directive. For us practioners the cost is $15.00 to participate. I hope we all can join and come together.
