🚨Big Announcement🚨

As of May 1, 2023 Optimum Performance Chiropractic is relocating the Webster Groves office.

We will be moving into Lova Health working side by side with Dr. Lev Furman.

The new office is located at: 6744 Clayton Rd Unit 206 Saint Louis, MO 63117

I will be seeing patients at this location both Wednesdays and Saturdays.

I personally would like to thank Dr. Furman for the opportunity and I’m looking forward to watching Optimum Performance Chiropractic continue to grow.

Stiff neck?

Give this a shot!

Grab a broom stick or dowel rod. Perform a chin retraction and place the stick/rib across your clavicles.

Now rotate the shoulders while keeping your head in place. You are rotating at the neck while keeping your head still.

You’ll definitely feel it in the SCM and traps.

Shoulder pain?

Give this a shot. Grab a dumbbell and lay down. Once on your back pull your shoulder blade down and back.

Extend the arm with the dumbbell and begin to pronate and supinate your hand.

Try not to let your shoulder move. Simply rotate the humerus. This activates the cuff muscles, aiding in shoulder stabilization.

Low back pain?

Give this partner stretch a shot!

Have your partner lying on their back. Fold one leg over the other as seen above.

Contact the opposite shoulder pinning it down. With your other hand you are going to contact their knee.

Traction the knee down towards their feet and across their body.

This is great for the QL, erectors, and you may feel some glute stretch also.

Tight pecs/upper back?

Give this partner stretch a shot!

One of my favorite chest openers.

Sit behind your partner placing your knee and ver their spine in the mid/upper back region. Place your hands under their arms and over the front of their shoulders.

Slowly lean back pulling your partner over your knee until the feel a nice stretch.

Don’t be afraid to change your knee position in order for your partner to feel a different stretch.

This is great to stretch your pecs and add extension into the upper back.

Low Back Pain?

Give this partner exercise a shot!

Have your partner laying face down. Place one hand on their low back and traction up. Have the other hand on the back of their knee and traction down.

This will help decompress their low back and open it up.

Now have your partner perform some press ups.

Have them perform sets of 10 with the press ups until they feel nice and loose.

This adds an extension element. Two great things for your low back tied into one exercise.
