Thank you to everyone who came out to Rest & Restore yesterday! What’s next??

Bring your friends, family, and especially your young ones out on Saturday, February 7 for the Winter Reading Carnival 📚 ❄️ ⛄️ from 11 AM to 3 PM at Deaconess Foundation (1000 N. Vandeventer).

Be sure to stop by the Youth Literacy Spa that our Youth Healing community members will be hosting.

Thank you to everyone who came out today to JoyFest! …and to all who participated in the different group activities from belly dancing, to karate, to drumming and dancing, releasing through acupuncture and through holding space for one another to grieve, reflect and journal. Wow! Today was so EVERYTHING.

Thank you Scoops Of Joy Freedom Community Center Mama Scrap's Diamond Diva Empowerment Foundation St. Luke AME, Emerging Wisdom, LLC, and Show Me Hope Missouri for making this event a reality 🙏🏾

Learn practical tools for self-defense, awareness, and everyday readiness.

💃🏾 Sacred Belly Dancing – 1:00 PM
Move, release, and reconnect with your body in a joyful, welcoming space.

🎉 JoyFest! – 1:00–3:00 PM
Free warm meals, grocery staples, music, joy, and community care.

Join us from 1–3 PM outside our bee Drop-In Wellness Center (3148 N. Vandeventer) for warm food, music, joy, and community connection.

We’ll also have two free community classes indoors:
