Earlier this month, IHN and our partners came together to support families navigating the recent interruption in SNAP benefits. Across two community events, we distributed 1,000 hot meals and 900 cans of infant formula at health centers throughout St. Louis City and County.

Thank you to Affinia Healthcare, Betty Jean Kerr People’s Health Center, CareSTL Health, Family Care Health Centers, and the St. Louis County Department of Public Health for hosting meal sites and helping bring our community together in support of one another.

We are grateful for our local food trucks, the St. Louis Area Foodbank, and the Empowered Thriving Communities Cooperative for their continued partnership and commitment to meeting community needs.

Through two sessions on Access & Equity and The Healthcare Divide, Saffiyah helped future providers explore how systemic factors impact care—and how they can create more connected, community-centered systems.
