Apollo-DES was pleased to host an informative wound care inservice led by Lori and Debbie from ConvaTec. Their presentation highlighted the latest advancements in wound care products and technologies, providing valuable insights into more effective, evidence-based approaches to wound management. Attendees gained a deeper understanding of how innovative supplies and techniques can enhance healing outcomes, improve patient comfort, and streamline care delivery. This session was an excellent opportunity to stay updated on best practices and elevate the standard of care we provide.

-I was a Candy striper in high-school, and an aide my senior year and then went into nursing . I never really had a plan to do anything else.

-Animal rescue

-I love wound care

-I really wanted a big girl job so I could get out on my own and nursing school was a quick option. I also really enjoy being able to help people when they are in difficult situations.

-Is stay at home mom an option? LOL Probably an orthodontist.

-Memory care and wound care
